Amanda Bialek, Life, Arts and Entertainment Editor
Amanda Bialek is a senior communication studies major with concentrations in strategic communication/public relations, multimedia journalism and broadcast production. She also has a minor in dance.
Bialek began as a staff writer for The Beacon her freshman year and served as an assistant editor prior to becoming the Life, Arts and Entertainment Editor.
She is a segment host/reporter/anchor for Wilkes Now, Wilkes University’s weekly news magazine television show and participates in Zebra Communications, the student-run public relations agency. Amanda is a member of the Wilkes University Honors Program and the vice president of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.
She has also interned in the Development Department at the Osterhout Free Library (Wilkes Barre, PA) and in the Communication Department at Rodale Institute (Kutztown, PA).
