The acting title is gone, and Brandon Michael is the next head coach of Wilkes Baseball.

The Wilkes Alum (‘14) will look to fill the shoes of Nate Ramsey, who departed Wilkes with a record of 28-45.’

“I am truly blessed and could not be more excited to be named the new Head Baseball Coach at Wilkes University,” Michael said in a Wilkes Athletics press release.

Michael looks to lead Colonel Baseball back to the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom tournament, where Wilkes has not been since 2009.

“I am excited to get to work with this team and exceed all expectations,” Michael said.

The Colonels kickoff their 2018 campaign against Elmira College on Feb. 24 before heading to Myrtle Beach, SC., for nine games at the Ripken Experience.
