Q. What was the driving force for your decision to come to Wilkes?
A. My acceptance into the Early Assurance BS/MD Pre-Medical Scholars Program and softball.
Q. What are your hopes for your next season as a Colonel?
A. I hope to accumulate more strikeouts than last year, have a winning record, and I also hope to make the MAC Spring Honor Roll and Dean’s List.
Q. When/Why did you first begin playing softball?
A. I began playing softball when I was 5 because of my parents. I kept playing softball because of Joe Drach. He taught me how to pitch and I have never loved anything more.
Q. Do you have other sports/interest/hobbies off of the field?
A. I am an avid reader; my favorite series is Harry Potter. I hold a part time position as a certified nursing assistant at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center and I am also a part of the Wilkes University Dance Team.
Q. What does “Be Colonel” mean to you?
A. Being colonel is being there for others, and being the best version of yourself that you can be.
Q. Who would you say, is the most influential person in your life? Why?
A. My parents, they are there for me through all my endeavors. My mother works in the medical field, and inspired me to pursue a career in medicine, and my father’s work ethic and commitment help me everyday to persevere through eight years of education.

Q. What does “Be Colonel” mean to you?
A. Being colonel is being there for others, and being the best version of yourself that you can be.

Q. Does the Softball Team have anything they would like to inform the student body?
A. We may be a very young team, but we are working hard to build our program everyday. We are planning on having a winning season that you’re not going to want to miss. Come out and support your Lady Colonels. Wear Crocs.
