Diploma Order Submission Reminder for May 2023 Graduates
If you have not already done so, seniors please submit your Diploma Order and Degree Audit via the electronic form for May 2023 Graduation. Use this link to access the form and more information: https://www.wilkes.edu/academics/registrar/graduation.aspx.
Seniors are urged to follow all instructions carefully and are reminded to order caps and gowns as well.
Second Saturday Family Hour: David C. Driskell Block Prints Rescheduled to Feb. 25, noon to 2 p.m.
The Sordoni Art Gallery has rescheduled its block printing workshop to Feb. 25, occuring at noon to 2 p.m.
Create your own block print inspired by all the Driskell masterpieces displayed in the gallery. Materials will be provided. All experience levels and ages are welcome.
The workshop is centered around its artist currently being featured, David C. Driskell. Driskell American artist, scholar and curator who is recognized for his work in mainstreaming African American Art.
Senior Portraits
Senior portraits will take place March 27 to 30 in the Henry Student Center Miller Room. Business attire is required and a cap and gown will be provided for you. To schedule an appointment, go to
https://www.ouryear.com and enter the school code 222. This is the only time pictures will be taken on campus.
Attend Self-Defense Class Hosted by Student Development
Student Development will host a self-defense class on Feb. 26. It will be a beginner level class and held at Northeastern Jujitsu from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $5 per student and attendees can sign up at the info desk. Students must have their Wilkes ID and payment at time of sign up.
HPSC Soda Tab Collection
Join the Honors Program in supporting the Ronald McDonald House by donating soda tabs. Tabs can be dropped off in the boxes inside the Honors Office (Stark 262), the SUB or in UCOM.
T-Shirt Fundraiser for Study-Abroad Trip
Help support Dr. Miller and Dr. Stratford’s study abroad trip to Costa Rica by purchasing Wilkes apparel. T-shirts are $27 and can be found by scanning the QR on the poster provided in the Feb. 17 Wilkes Today email.
