A Wilkes tradition designed to allow students’ parents and guardians to experience Wilkes-Barre from the student’s eyes will be continued again this year on Sept. 21.

The university’s annual Family Day Picnic features food, drinks and activities for those attending.

Registration and most activities will be at Ralston Field is; however, the Stark Learning Center and Henry Student Center are also venues throughout the day.

During the day, visitors get the opportunity to meet faculty and staff who are becoming such an important part of the student’s life.

Parking is available at any campus lot. Shuttle buses will be available to take guests to the football field, at the pick-up spot behind the Student Center, every 20 minutes. Parking at Ralston Field is extremely limited.
