The day began with registration at 9:45 a.m. with the family brunch in the dining hall starting at 10 a.m.. A community service project followed the brunch.
Later that afternoon, students and families were able to attend the Lebanon Valley home football game, as well as a family film. “Running the Numbers: Portraits of Mass Consumption,” an exhibit of photography by Chris Johnson was also on display that afternoon in the Sordoni Art Gallery.
Later that afternoon, a special autumn deserts reception was held in the ballroom. Participants tasted the best of autumn’s delights, including hot cocoa, cider, pumpkin pie amongst other treats.
Barbara King, associate dean of student affairs, said that in the past few years it was traditionally a picnic. This year they went back to the traditional family day brunch.
