What is your favorite neuroscience class you have taken and why? My favorite financial investment class I have taken so far is Investments and Portfolio Management because we were able to get hands-on experience with building and analyzing our own hedge funds.
What is your favorite aspect of the major? My favorite aspect is the close relationships I have with the professors and my peers in class.
What are you looking forward to this year? I am most looking forward to my internship at Customers Bank this summer.
Why did you choose this major? I originally chose this major because I have always been good at dealing with other people’s finances and had a knack for numbers while growing up.
What do you hope to achieve from this major? With this major I hope to begin my professional career in wealth management and eventually open my own hedge fund.

What is your favorite neuroscience class you have taken and why? My favorite finance class was FIN 343, which was called Investments & Portfolio Management because I liked creating a well diversified portfolio and tracking it throughout the class while doing analysis on my portfolio throughout the semester.
What is your favorite aspect of the major? My favorite aspect of the major is that the professors are very welcoming and will push students to be the best student they can possibly be.
What are you looking forward to this year? This upcoming year I look forward to getting my first finance internship throughout the summer of 2023.
Why did you choose this major? I chose to be a double-major in financial investments and corporate finance because I have always been interested in the finance world and the stock market. Throughout high school, I managed my parents investments, which helped me learn a whole lot in the field before coming to Wilkes and expanding my knowledge.
What do you hope to achieve from this major? The main thing that I want to do with these majors is help as many people as I can gain at least a little more access to financial freedom because I believe money is one of the biggest stresses to people, and if I can help them feel more confident about their finances going forward I will be happy.

What is your favorite neuroscience class you have taken and why? My favorite financial class that I have taken is Financial Analysis with Dr. Wang because I enjoyed learning the different stages of stocks and when to buy or sell. I feel that the information learned in this class will be applicable for my future career and for also managing my own money.
What is your favorite aspect of the major? My favorite aspect of my major is learning the complexities of the markets and how impactful it is in our daily lives. Markets change continuously and it affects prices everywhere. I like being able to study these markets and predict what will happen.
What are you looking forward to this year? I am most looking forward to my summer internship at First Investment Services to learn about proper wealth management.
Why did you choose this major? I chose this major because I enjoy learning about investments, particularly about the stock market. Additionally, I liked that you can use this degree for many different career avenues, like banking, advising, analyzing, and trading.
What do you hope to achieve from this major? With this major I hope that it helps me achieve becoming a financial advisor.

What is your favorite neuroscience class you have taken and why? My favorite financial investments class was Finance 343 because it allowed me to apply what I learned in class. We started our own mutual fund portfolio and got to learn the complete process of investing.
What is your favorite aspect of the major? My favorite aspect of the major is learning the difference between an asset and a liability, many people don’t understand the difference.
What are you looking forward to this year? This year I’m looking forward to applying my knowledge to my personal endeavors by starting my own business.
Why did you choose this major? I chose this major because where I am from we do not learn about how money works and how to make money work for us. By studying financial investments, I can go back to my city and spread the knowledge on financial literacy.
What do you hope to achieve from this major? With this major I plan to become a financial advisor for musicians and athletes. Besides that, I’m starting my own business and fully intend to apply everything I learned.
