On the evening of March 19, the Sordoni Art Gallery located in Karambelas Media & Communication Center hosted a DIY Zines and Hoagies event on campus.
Attendees who entered the event could sign up to the art gallery to get information and emails about future events held by the gallery such as the Second Saturday events and more.
The refreshments included sandwiches, chips and cookies alongside lemonade and iced tea. Attendees were provided with a variety of materials such as markers, crayons and even decorative parchment paper to elevate their design.
Several patrons created zines, which mean a small fan-made/niche magazine, spanning from a decorative Hallmark card-like design to mini-comic strips.
